COVID Restriction Update - In-Person Services Suspended
Dear Central Family,
Dr. Bonnie Henry, our Provincial health officer, announced new and stricter measures in light of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. Here are some restrictions that will effect us as a church.
Effective immediately, all in-person services and gatherings of any size are suspended until further notice. While this does not pertain to immediate households it does include all mid-week activities and care groups.
We rejoice that our on-line services will continue and that you can join us on-line via the website or Central app starting Sunday morning. In addition, our on-line kid’s services are available to encourage you and your family to follow Jesus.
While we are not able to gather for worship at this time, Dr. Henry has made provision for actives such as our Backpacks of Hope distribution event happening this weekend. We are committed to ensure proper precautions are in place to make this a safe and fun event. Help us help others.
In addition, Dr. Henry announced a mandatory mask policy. Effective immediately, masks must to be worn in all public spaces with the exception of those with medical reasons for not wearing a mask. Please be sure to wear a mask if coming to the church. Our ministry team will be wearing masks to mitigate against the virus.
These are challenging and changing times. Pastor Matt has produced a brief video to encourage you as we adapt yet again. Please join us as we rally around the following four calls to action:
We want to invite you to do 4 things:
1. PRAY for our church, leaders, essential workers, the sick, & hurting, in our community
2. BE A BLESSING to people in the community
3. REACH OUT TO SOMEONE FROM CENTRAL this week to encourage and bless
4. JOIN US FOR OUR ONLINE SERVICE and online kids service
