We Are What We Value
What we talk about, spend our money on, even daydream about, reveal what we really love and value most.
Jesus was never meant to be some consumeristic add-on to our lives or one aspect among many in someone’s healthy living portfolio. Jesus invades the lives of those who value Him above all else or not at all.
Therefore, what we are after in our fall sermon series is threefold: 1) to address our misplaced values individually and corporately, 2) to find our deepest values in Christ, and 3) to discover and live out our corporate values as a church. We are — after all — what we value.
