Why have we experienced such prosperity in our time and place? Simply for our comfort and personal 'blessing' or for a greater cause? If so, what is that cause?
As a church, we believe that we are called to respond to the generosity of the gospel by giving extravagantly to the progress of the gospel in our community and world, leveraging what God has entrusted us with to support Kingdom ministry with eternal value rather than padding personal kingdoms that can't be taken with us (Lk 12:32-34).
The discipline of regular, generous giving (1 Cor 16:2) simultaneously brings joy to the giver (2 Cor 8:2) and fuels our mission to make disciples (Psalm 67; Matt 28:19-20). We expand on all of this in our series entitled, Generous: The Open Hands of the Gospel.
